With more than 25 years as a working artist and over 15 years of teaching experience, I bring a love of creativity and a thoughtful, encouraging approach to every class. I’m inspired by the simple beauty found in everyday life and enjoy helping others see and express those small details through art.
I work in a variety of mediums, including painting, mixed media, and creative journaling, and I believe art should feel approachable, meaningful, and enjoyable for everyone—no matter their experience level.
After experiencing two strokes, I gained a deeper understanding of how people learn and process new skills. That journey shaped the way I teach, allowing me to break techniques down into clear, manageable steps that help students feel confident and successful.
My classes are rooted in encouragement, simplicity, and joy, with a focus on helping each student discover their own creative voice in a relaxed, supportive environment.
