Ah, Paint brushes, so many great colors before us. Hi, I'm Nina. I've been a creative since I can remember. Having been a high school art instructor for 15 years, I like a variety of mediums, styles and techniques. I do tend to favor painting floral, a bit of whimsy, landscapes and whimsical cats inspired by our long-time fur buddy's antics. I paint in acrylics and on various surfaces including having fun upcycling and repurposing found items. I am a decorative painter and a designer creating tutorials and packets. I have been painting, designing, and teaching, for over 30 years. Putting in many hours selling at fairs and bazaars so I can buy more painting supplies.
Over the years I attended classes from great teachers that encouraged me to keep at it. I took time away from teaching for several years as life was full and kept me busy in other ways. I refocused and got back to designing and teaching, passing my CDA in 2018. Ray and I live in Oregon. I am mom to four daughters and one son, grandma to four boys and two girls all full of adventure and creativity in their owns ways. I get to teach at conventions and expos meeting new friends and wonderful painters.
