Linda’s creative journey began over forty years ago when a pastel portrait she designed and created, earned her a state award. From that moment on, painting became her passion. Devoting herself first, as a student, and later as a teacher, Linda mastered an array of mediums, including acrylics, watercolors, pastels, inks, and oils.
Teaching and designing were the natural progression for Linda. In the years that followed, she earned a reputation as a skillful designer and an enthusiastic instructor.
Successfully creating and publishing her own designs has enabled Linda to become a member of the National Art Materials Trade Association (NAMTA), the premier trade association for global creative arts. In addition, after one hundred hours of teaching and a peer reviewed video submission, Linda has been awarded the certification Teacher of Decorative Art (TDA).
Linda has been invited to teach both internationally and at many regional conventions, including the New England Traditions (NET), the OKC Painting Palooza, the Annual Painting and Creative Expo (APC) and the Pacific Decorative Painting Expo.
Always with an eye on reaching just one more aspiring painter, Linda has expanded her teaching portfolio to include on-line classes and conventions, including ArtWaves Coast to Coast and several, private Facebook groups.
Her designs regularly appear on the pages of our industry’s best publications.
Linda is also a spokesperson for several major companies and a proud member of the DecoArtist™ program. Linda is also an ambassador for FM Dynasty Brushes™ and ChartPak™.
