My name is Lora Haberstroh. I have been a Decorative Painter for over 30 years.
I began my painting journey at my local Michaels. There I learned about shops in my area to take more informed classes. There I learned about The Society of Decorative Painters and the Chapters in my area. I joined them all. I was then able to take seminars to learn even more.
As time went on I began teaching at the shops and to my local groups.
I attended many Society conventions, HOOT (Heart of Ohio Tole) convention. New England Tradition and now OKC Painting Palooza.
This will be my 4th time teaching at OKC.
I also do color pencils, mixed media, some water color. I mainly teach in Acrylic. After being afraid of JoSonja paints, I conquered that fear by taking classes with Rosemary West. I hope to help other students with my class this year at OKC.
I live north of Chicago. I have been married for over 40 years to my love James. We have three grown daughters. Twins, Catherine and Elizabeth. Melissa is our youngest. We gained two sons in love when Catherine (Ryan) and Melissa (Sam) married.
