As a seasoned decorative painter with over three decades of experience, I eagerly accepted the opportunity to embark on a journey as a traveling teacher when Binney and Smith, the owner of Liquitex at the time, and Rupert, Gibbon, and Spider, renowned silk and textile retailers, approached me. My passion for painting led me to teach at esteemed venues like HOOT and the Creative Painting conventions in Las Vegas in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
Six years ago, colored pencils, graphite, and pastels ignited my interest in travel teaching once again. My classes emphasize fundamental theory and the underlying principles that guide the creation of the artwork I teach. After a long hiatus, I was thrilled to resume my travel teaching journey in 2023. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting many wonderful fellow artists at OKC Painting Palooza, EXPO, and NET.
