I started my painting journey about 35 years ago, first painting on fabric and then one day I happened to see a notice in my art store for classes in folk art.
I signed up and had the most wonderful Dutch teacher who taught the basics of stoke work and traditional painting – and I was hooked.
I moved to more decorative painting and heave been fortunate enough to teach and be published both locally and internationally.
Painting has also given me lifelong friendships that I treasure.
Along with my best friend Lea Davis we ran the Helping Artist Program in Australia and hosted seminars with some amazing international artists.
My association with DecoArt continues and I love to paint with their products.
I also love to share what I have learnt over the years and I guess that is my true passion.
I’m rubbish at websites, blogs and social media so you won’t find much about me online but I hope to change that in 2026!
