Level: Intermediate Medium: Acrylic/Mixed Media Surface: Metal Size: 11" x 4" x 4"
Learning Goal: Understanding balance, grouping, symmetry, and layering of elements to create a striking composition. Experimenting with various media products and creating a faux patina effect by playing with paint, pastes, waxes, and gilding. Choosing embellishments to elevate your finished artwork, incorporating beads, microbeads, glitter, and small elements to add texture & create a unified, visually engaging piece.
Special Supplies: Tidy tray to catch glitter and microbeads, a craft mat (i.e. silicone), a gilding brush (or stencil brush) a couple of cheap stiff-bristle 3/4 or 1" flat brushes (i.e. white hog bristle), paper towel, baby wipes.
